Six Sentence – 6/10/12

Good morning fellow sixers! I’d like to thank everyone for the continuous comments, especially those who have been supportive from the beginning. Your helpful words motivate me to continue and hope you’ll continue to support me. This weeks excerpt continues with Ryan and Cammy where Ryan apologizes for nearly blurting out that he was going to hit her. Hope you enjoy. I’ll be absent next Sunday as I’ll be driving to Florida next weekend. Here it is:

“Look, Cammy, I’m sorry,” he stammered, still overwhelmed.

“Man, you need to chill,” she lifted herself up and grabbed a hold of Ryan’s shoulders. With her fingers, she rubbed his shoulder blades vigorously.

“What are you doin’?” he protested, attempting to free himself.

“Relax stud,” she tightened her grip and kept massaging him. Ryan eventually gave in and let her work his tense, achy muscles.

  1. Nothing like a friendly massage to help two characters resolve some of their issues and reconnect.

  2. I like the briskness in the way she deals with him. She’s obviously not scared of him and the physical contact – even if it doesn’t sound that soothing – shows more effectively than words that he has been forgiven. Lovely characterisation.

You’re right on about her! And thanks for that, I actually thought this six would’ve been a little lame.

I does sound like he’s uptight and needs the massage. Hopefully it works. Nice six! 🙂

It sounds like she knows what she’s doing. Good six, Frank. 🙂
